Frye Nouveau After Hours

Frye Nouveau After Hours

Frye Art Museum (704 Terry Avenue, Seattle)

Thursday, August 15

6–9 pm

In celebration of our new member group, Frye Nouveau, we invite you to meet and reconnect with fellow art lovers with happy hour in the Courtyard, enjoy after-hours access to the newly opened summer exhibitions, and shop thoughtfully curated local goods at the Museum Store.

Special Guests:

Meet kwonny, the current Museum Store alcove artist, learn more about her practice, and shop her prints. kwonny is a Korean-American artist living and working in Seattle, whose mixed media works inhabit the space between figurative and abstract, simultaneously belonging and being out-of-place.

Join a special gallery talk by Curatorial Assistant Alexis L. Silva with exclusive insights about Stephanie Syjuco: After/Images and Mary Ann Peters: the edge becomes the center. Learn more about Alexis’ own artistic practice on the Frye blog.

This event is open to the public (21+) in partnership with the Frye Nouveau member group. Registration is required.

Refreshments available for purchase. Frye members receive a complimentary drink ticket.
