During the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the dedication of the Rosales organ at St. James Cathedral, Seattle, we feature concerts with organ throughout the 2025-2026 concert season. Stephen Tharp, a Grammy-nominated concert organist and recording artist based in New York City, has built one of the most well-respected international careers in the world. We're honored and delighted to welcome him to the Cathedral!

He's got an exciting program planned that features his own transcription of Igor Stravinsky's Le Sacre du printemps (The Rite of Spring) along with music from Joseph Jongen – Toccata, from Symphonie Concertante (1926); Richard Wagner – "Liebestod," from Tristan und Isolde (1859); and Franz Liszt – Totentanz – Paraphrase on Dies Irae (1849)

Walk-up tickets will be available at the box office located inside the south Columbia St. / Courtyard entrance to the Cathedral.
